Kincaid Hunting Farm - 250.72 Acres, Wichita County

This is a clean productive farm that offers outstanding hunting. It's located a short 15 minute drive west of Wichita Falls on the north side of Hwy 258 near the community of Kamay.

The land is primarily farmland broken up into several small fields. Most of the fields have tree lined barriers that offer great cover for hunting. There are scattered mesquite thickets throughout and a densely wooded strip along the west boundary that goes down to the Wichita River. There is 105 feet of Wichita River frontage across a portion of the north boundary. Turkey Creek extends through the central portion of the farm. Surface water consist of one stock pond. Great quality whitetail deer have been harvested on this property. The buck within the photos was taken last deer season. The sheds within the photos were found near the stock pond while taking pictures of the property. Other wildlife known to be in the area is deer, hogs, bobcats, coyotes, dove, quail, duck, turkey to name a few. In addition to hunting the river also offers fishing.

There is 180 acres of tillable farmland, that has historically been planted in Winter Wheat. Wheat is a key food source and attraction for wildlife. A portion of the property can be flood irrigated if desired. A local farmer currently leases the farming. If continued this could be an income source to a new buyer.

There are no structural improvements on the site. The entire boundary is fenced with barbed wire in average condition. A set of metal livestock corrals are located on Hwy 258 at the southeast corner of property.
