Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Stephen has spent the majority of his life working on his family’s ranch in Clay County, countless hours of hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. He has developed a deep appreciation and love for the outdoors. His background in appraisal and knowledge of the farm and ranch land industry gives him a more educated approach in assisting his clients in the buying and selling of their properties.
Stephen attended Midwestern State University on a football scholarship. His entrepreneurial spirit became evident early in life. While at Midwestern he owned and operated a successful lawn and landscape business. All while attending courses and keeping up with his strict football schedule. He graduated from MSU in 2009 with a Bachelor in Science. Shortly after graduating, Stephen began working with his dad Steve Turner at Turner Appraisal Company. He quickly learned the appraisal trade and earned his Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in 2013. Stephen’s appraisal career began with appraising commercial and residential properties. Soon after his appraisal career began, Stephen and his father established a cow/calf operation in Clay County. Stephen learned quickly what he enjoyed most, and began focusing strictly on farm and ranch appraisals. Using his love of ranching and knowledge of appraisals naturally transitioned him into the salesperson role.
He became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Texas in 2015. Shortly after, he and his father Steve Turner formed Turner Country, LLC. Since then, Stephen has been involved in many successful land transactions that created a loyal clientele base, that continually turn to him for counsel. His work experience in this capacity includes representing buyers and sellers, acting as an intermediary, feasibility analysis for land development, land development acquisitions, understanding and resolving complex land issues, understanding underlying land characteristics that affect value.
His background in appraisal and knowledge of the farm and ranch land industry gives him a more educated approach in assisting his clients in the buying and selling of their properties. He is a credible source when it comes to evaluating his client’s needs, whether it is accurately marketing properties, or educating buyers in helping them make the most rewarding decision. He has had the pleasure of assisting clients with their land acquisitions and sales of farm and ranch property throughout north, west and central portions of Texas. Stephen values the trust he has earned with his clients and puts his whole heart into meeting their goals.
Stephen lives in Wichita Falls with his wife, Kacie and four year-old daughter Madden, and two year-old son Jack. He is a member of The Mavericks of Wichita Falls and in his free time he enjoys hunting, traveling, and being outdoors with his family and friends.
